#2, 3 and 4 gift

I finished this last week but have been busy and didn't post the pics yet.

attack of the lady bugs

Last week one day we came home from where ever we were. I go into the house and my toddler lagging behind I hear her squeal "oooohhhh a lady bug". After we ate our lunch I tell her lets go look for lady bugs. Well there were a least 30 or so lady bugs in the front yard. So we were lady bug hunting in the yard for some time.

Well my poor little brain is done being creative.

You get the idea. I need to give it a rest BUT lucky for you I won't. OH I got the crop-a-dile today cause I smash my thumb trying to set a snap on gift #2 for the new niece and some tiny carpi's. Ya what what I saying give it rest NEVER I SAY.

Oh I am such an ambitious little thing, he he he. My crafts haunt me in my sleep if I don't complete them. That's way I always enjoy one day projects. This was my first raggedy quilt.

I'm gonna be an aunt

So I never thought I was going to be an aunt. I have adopted many children to give gifts to, hey I have to give all this crap I make away to some one. Anyways I have three siblings and I have been the only breeder until now. My brother's wife is due in july. I CAN"T WAIT. So I have started the gift makings. Her shower is next month so I have to make up a shower gift. This is a sneak peak. Oh I am already thinking she will be 6 months around the Holidays, can you tiny Christmass dress. Oh and I will give her a little onesie saying "My Aunt Cathy Rocks"......

Well I left my camera at my mom's on Easter so no pics until I can beg some one to bring it to me or drive the hr and get it. So I will postpone my Easter rants.

I have ANOTHER sinus infection, yikes give it a rest. I think I will go to the doctor and demand antibiotics. When I went a month ago the ER doc gave me a cough medicine for a sinus infection "I didn't have a cough". I can't wait to go the the urgent care with a toddler in toe. Maybe I should get off my lazy a** and get a real doctor.

Well I'm off to finish Medium then off to bed......

It's My Birthday

WHO CARES is what I say. HA HA it's more for hubby and the toddler. My 20 yr old called bright and early to wish me a Happy B-day and then proceeded to whine about her job. I wanted to yell "Hey it's my birthday and you woke me up, stop whining about your crap".

Ok so another blogger had made this REALLY cute stuffed cat. I contacted her and asked about the pattern. I went out the next day after she replies and bought the book. Mine came out like crap, I don't like it at all.

I made this little monster to put in one of my girls Easter basket and I love it.

I posted on one of my mommy groups pics of the monster. One of the moms asked me if I would make one for her son. When we started really getting into the details she told me what her son had asked for.

This was his request:

Florida

We are back from a much needed vacation. We purchased this package over 3 yrs ago and finally took the trip. Our itinerary was 2 nights in FortLauderdale, 2 night cruise to Nausea Bahamas and back for 3 more night in FortLauderdale. The first 2 nights we stayed in The Holiday Inn Express, believe it or not it wasn't to bad.

Saw some beautiful homes on the water.

And some not so beautiful.

The cruise was on an older ship but it was nice.

Nassau was not what I expected but ok. We just wondered around the town, got some beers and walked the beach.

Needless to say I was disappointed in the second accommodations. I paid extra to stay at a "resort" with a private beach. I almost left the first night because I was sceeved out, I got over it.

The beach was beautiful.

And last but not least. If your in Miami you have to go to a placed called "Monkey Jungle" this is the second time I have been. The people are caged and the monkeys run free.
