Hubby works in the medical field and one of his colleges got this from a friend in infertility. She gave it to hubby and said "give it to you daughter, tell her it's a worm". Well even if we told her it was a sperm would it really matter she's 4. Any way I thought it was funny......

Cookies and decorating

Still no sewing. I have to wear the boot for one more week but I did manage to get some craftyness in. We made cookies yesterday for the tot's teachers. Notice the gift tag, it's a cinnamon apple sauce ornament. It's really easy to do I would recommend not baking and air drying.

I had the urge to decorate and FINALLY got a tree. My son and his gal pal helped decorate the tree. All good times.



And last but not least. the tot had her first school singing this. This is here leaving the building and noticing me.

BORED BORED BORED

Ok I know I shouldn't complain or mutter the "B" word but OMG I want to jump out of my skin. I had my foot surgery on Wednesday (it went as well as can be expected since having your foot cut open in two spots). I can't sew BOO. I can't drive cause it's raining and no one in CA knows how to drive in the rain so I can't attempt to drive with my bum foot. I can't go outside cause it raining and I can't get my foot wet. My a** print is very vivid in my couch. I am taking antibiotics and it is causing havoc on my stomach. I have hobbled to the bathroom about 3000 times today, my poor you know what (I know to much info). The tot has a school singing thing this week and I don't have an outfit made for her cause my machine was broke and now I can't sew BOO.

Sorry for the fowl mood.

Just an update

Here's just a few things I thought I would update you all on.

#1 The broken sewing machine - should be picked up tonight, YAY.

#2 My blood pressure - it is down to a good level with meds, YAY.

#3 My stupid foot - I am having surgery tomorrow, BOO.

#4 My craft projects - everything is on hold now cause of the stupid foot thing, BOO.

I think I have all my Christmas shopping done. I just have to get something for hubby, I have no ideas, BOO. No matter how early I start thinking about making Christmas gift's I never seem to get them done months ahead of time like I think I would. Maybe this yr I can get my act in gear HA HA HA. Oh well off to make dinner for the tot, BOO.

We went to my moms and I ate way to much again but boy is it good. Hope everyone had a good day yesterday. I decided to do the 12 am Toys-R-us sale, I wish I would have brought my camera. I was about 250 people deep in a line of over 1000 people. I had a mission and did not deflect from it. I had my 50% off buys and was out by 12:45.

The Good, Bad and the ugly

The good:
My machine is repairable and it won't cost a arm and a leg.
My blood pressure is coming down to almost a normal level after all the meds.

The bad:
My bp is still to high so no foot surgery.
I have a gnarly sinus infection that is sucking the life out of me.

The ugly:
I have been going every other day to have my bp checked, this is the ugly. They made me get on a scale today OMG, boy am I fat......

On another note I am thinking of having another blog. I want to have a place where I can say anything(I mean anything, I have allot on my mind that is not pretty). This site will be for happy talk only.

I'm sad

I was in the process of making this really cute advent calendar as a gift. So here comes number 24 (the last number since I was going to put Santa on the 25th) and BEEP BEEP BEEP it was the alarm on my embroidery machine. My darling embroidery machine is jammed WAAAAAAAAAA. Hubby is going to drop it off at the shop today so cross your fingers it is nothing big. I think I would crawl in a hole and die if I loose my machine.

On another note I was supposed to get surgery on my foot next week. I week to get the pre-op work down low and behold they won't do it cause my BP is to high. So she gave me different meds. I was prescribed meds during the summer and stopped them cause they made me feel like do do. I have to go in today to see if it went down. Oh joy of being fat and old.

UGGG

I need to loose 50 lbs. Any suggestions? I have done weight watchers and that works but then I gain it back. I was thinking about south beach....... UGGG......

Tacky or thoughtful

Ok so now I hope I have learned my lesson to keep my mouth shut. I told a mom last month that I was gonna make her son a hoodie for his play date / birthday party this month. We all know I as sick for almost 2 weeks and boy did that JACK things up.

So the party was today. I started yesterday to make this little boys hoodie and finally finished at 2 today (the party was at 3). So I thought I would have time to wash it well at 3:10 I had to make a decision. The choices were be late (it wash soaking wet at 3:10), don't bring it, let my son take it later or bring it wet. So I opted to bring it wet. I told one of the mom's what I did and she said "throw it in the dryer" so i did. Then later when the kid was opening his gifts I told the mom his gift was in her dryer. I will say this is a mom's club friend we are not best friends. I also will say my 19 yr old son said how tacky that would be and I replied she wouldn't expect any less of me. I will also say it was REALLY CUTE and I forgot to take pics (Star Wars hoodie need I say more).

Well I kind of have enough energy to write this. It's not quite 8 am and I need to get ready to take my darling 4 yr old to school. My head feels like the Hulk is smashing it in. I would rather curl up on the couch instead of taking a shower.

There is really nothing to write about since this week I spent most of it laying on the couch or napping.

The only things really worth blogging about is:

If you are formula feeding a 3 month old do you feed on demand or on a schedule? I can't remember how sad is that.....

The other thing (a little deeper than feeding a baby) is my relationship with hubby is in a funk. We need a relationship make over. Don't get me wrong were not fighting but just a little distant or allot distant.......

Off to take a shower and the kid to school.

Miss me yet

Sorry all I have been under the weather since Friday night. I still feel like a zombie. I will try to update you all on the Halloween extravaganza as soon as I feel up to it.

Halloween week

Since the 4 yr old was born I have always bought many Halloween themed out fits to wear through the wk. This yr it was a combo of stuff I have made and bought.

adventures in babysitting

I picked up baby Kristi around noon and headed to my home. This baby WAS so stinking good it was abnormal until......... I took off her bib and scratched her. YIKES you would have thought I pulled off her arm and was beating her with it. I finally calmed her down after a 1/2 hr. I returned the broken baby to mom around 10:30 pm (she was bowling with her league). Oh and I did tell and show her where I scratched the baby. I also called this morning to make sure all was well. You will be happy to know I didn't ruin the baby.

I'm stealing a baby

HA I called my SIL and asked if I could take my 3 month old niece for the day. So I am gonna pick up the peanut tomorrow for the whole day. If all goes well expect tons of pics or one of me bald :).

Ok so I broke down and told hubby about my week. The conversation went like this:

Sorry to hear that, what the hell. I have been sitting here freaking out and he's sorry to hear that not why didn't you say something or a hug but "sorry to hear that". I'm still in a PMS mood and want to hurt him bad. AAARRRRRGGGGG time for another midol. I may look into getting stock if this is the first stage of menopause.

rut row part 3

This maybe gross to some of you but when your being sneaky there are no rules. So when I tested Sunday afternoon it was a big fat "NO". I got up WAY to early to try to be sneaky around my hubby who was getting ready for work so I peed in a cup and went back to bed. When I got up and quickly tested and again it was a big fat "NO".

I have never missed a period and am usually like clock work. I'm in a foul mood (just took midol so i don't kill the toddler) I even had dreams about being mad and my boobs hurt.

Now I'm sitting here thinking many things:

I was wrong on my dates (even if I am I'm still late now)

The blood pressure meds jacked me up

or I'm menopausal

So I went to the local wally world and picked up toddler shampoo, body wash, axe for the hubby (he likes it I think it stinks), wall plate covers for miss piss's room and a "who killed the rabbit" test. Then I went to the grocery store the whole time I was freaking out almost in tears. I went home snuck into the bathroom and did the test. It was a big NO right away, yay. I have no idea why I am so late maybe I'm menopausal, maybe it was the drugs, maybe I'm confused on my dates or maybe just stress. I will test again in the morning just to make sure since this afternoon wasn't my first pee plus they come in a two pack. I guess this whole thing has made me make up my mind no more baby fever......

No I haven't tested. I'm thinking maybe I was wrong when I had my you know what last. If I keep telling myself I was mistaken on the day maybe Aunt Flo will come knocking at the door at any moment (I was gonna write it down but I don't think I did). I will sneak out and buy a test today and test tomorrow. I have decided that if I am not "you know what" then I will run as fast as my very large arss will go to the OB and get on something. I had my scare I'm good now. It's funny the sh** that goes through my head any who, like gosh how will I make the craft / baby room work or we can call it oncore cause I thought Miss Piss was my finale.

I think I'm gonna stroke out. Hey Kristen if you read this please don't spill the beans.

Well I'm starting to panic a little. I am 5 days late on my "you know what". I keep rushing to the bathroom to check. In the back of my head I am wondering if the BP meds jacked me up. I been searching the Internet all morning to see if this was a side effect and found nothing. I stopped taking the bp pills last month due to then making me feel like sh**. So if any knows if this is a side effect please let me know. I was at Wally World yesterday and almost bought a pee stick but I don't want to go there :)......

Ok so this is the only place I can say what ever I want without peering eyes. You know the feeling who will read this or can I say that or who will I piss off. Well in this case I'm hiding from hubby, no I don't want to bash him he he he he. So here's the deal I'm feeling baby fever. Yes you heard it BABY FEVER. Am I crazy? What the hell is my problem? I am 41 yrs old with 4 children. I keep telling hubby he need to get fixed or it's bound to happen. Well maybe I'm to old? Ya I think I would shi* if I was knocked up.

What is this craziness that I am feeling........

Part of it is Caitlyn is going to pre-school now. The other part is I would really like for hubby to have a son. I KNOW IT'S DUMB. He is an only child and I would like to to have someone to carry on our name :)

Caitlyn's art

I had decided a long time ago that I would not keep all of Caitlyn's art work or school work in a box that no one would ever see or in the case if it's in my garage never find again. So I am taking pictures and hiding it in the bottom of the trash can (I am also doing this with toys not throwing them away but giving them away). At a later date I will make a snapfish photo book. If I have enough this yr I will do it for the grandparents x-mass gift.

Snow White on a longboard

My 4 yr old can't make up her mind on what she wants to be for Halloween. I decided I would make a Snow White dress that could double as a dress up dress. I wish it was a little fuller.

Sqirman

My son is homeless at this time so he decided to come stay with us for a while till he goes off into the Navy. So now I have a permanent house guest in my crap / craft room. The good news to all of this is #1 Caitlyn LOVES her big brother so now he is her playmate :) #2 he thinks I am a slob so he has picking up and doing stuff around the house.

It has been so stinking hot here. My son and Caitlyn went out in the pool. They had been out there for quite a while so I went to check. Well my 4 yr old found this tiny lizard floating / swimming in the pool (it was alive). She had been playing with it for about a 1/2 an hr. Later I asked the boy if he gave her the lizard and he confessed that he did not pick it up but she did.

We did free him after the playdate was over.

I have been going through my Holiday fabric and have stuff left over from last yr. So I thought anyone want to swap Holiday fabric? I don't have yrds and yrds but looking at my Halloween fabric I have several different ones that I have over used and it's time for new stuff. So if your interested let me know. I'm pooped

This has been the busiest longest weekend. I haven't been feeling to hot lately, I know boo hoo me, and this has been the first couple of days I haven't felt like you know what. My husband was out on business all week and returned early Friday morning. We drove an hr to my son's UTI graduation(Universal Technical Institute just in case you were thinking urinary track infection). We stayed the rest of the day at my mom's which is always good for my blood pressure, NOT. We got home late only to get ready for a party the next day for to boy's graduation. My parents and a bunch of 20 something yr old kids came over on Sat to eat and swim and make a mess. Then today the 4 yr old had a party for her twin friends. I am pooped.

We finally went to go see my one and only niece. My sister-in-law (who I now think is the greatest) made sure the new little peanut had on my favorite baby gift.

Ok so I have to admit I laughed out loud when I saw I had to comments on my last post. If my two poster are reading this you may just get a quilt :) I have enough fabric to give a quilt to most of this City. Oh maybe I should make a quilt to cover the city when it's cold (boy I crack myself up). I will say that my 2 posters did give me a great idea for the up coming Holidays, I see a Holiday blog give away in the future.

I did manage to finish the top to Caitlyn's kitty quilt. Now my big debate is whether to back it with this really really soft kitty fleece I bought LAST yr or a cotton back. So the next blankets / quilts are star wars theme. I'm mulling over the idea of make them out of fleece so the will be cuddly, maybe a quillow. My problem is I love the look of a true cotton quilt but when your making them for kids under 6 do you go with what you like or the soft warm stuff........

I am in the process of trying to destash my stash. I have a fabric addiction that brings the word addiction to whole new level. So now that I have dabbled in the quilting world everyone will most likely getting some sort of blanket for the holidays. This surely will lessen my mounds of fabric.

BAD CAT

So the toddler and the kitty seam to bonk heads every once in a while. Today was one of those days. Elli the cat is pretty good and becoming a traditional "cat" sleeps most of the day. Any-who when she is done taking a 2 or 3 hour nap she likes to scratch I mean play. This captures the "she's a bad kitty" moment.

Birthday extravaganza

We had Miss Caitlyn's family birthday on the 18 th since daddy would be out of town for the real thing. It was pinata, cake eating, swimming, new scooter fun. My darling little girl was going around telling everyone she was getting a pink car for her Birthday. Being the cheap a** I am I wasn't about to spend $$$ on something that is used every once in a while. So after searching daily on craiglist for a use pink car and coming up with nothing I found this REALLY cute pink princess vespa at good old Wally World for under a $150.
